Novice Motorcycle Courses (with MSA/MST)
Designed for new riders and anyone who hasn’t used a clutch motorcycle before (but is suitable for any rider looking to fast track the licensing process, while improving skills and safety). This pathway takes you from first contact with a bike through the on-site Motorcycle Skills Assessment / Test (MSA/MST), then onward to on-street coaching as you work toward your Class 6 licence.
- Classroom foundations: clear, step-by-step theory to prepare you for range and road.
- On-bike range training: low-speed control, clutch/throttle balance, precise braking, and manoeuvres.
- On-site MSA/MST: complete your skills assessment/test as part of the course (see details on course page).
- Optional traffic training: on-street coaching, hazard awareness, and mock road test.
- Equipment support: training motorcycles and riding gear available for students (see availability/details on course page).
Advanced Rider Training (Skills Upgrade)
For licensed riders (or returning riders) who want targeted coaching and real-world drills to improve precision and confidence.
- Control & finesse: tight U-turns, figure-8s, balance, and smooth inputs.
- Emergency skills: threshold braking, braking while turning, and obstacle avoidance.
- Bike handling: body position, low-speed mastery, and practical bike-pickup technique.
- Bring your own motorcycle (alumni rentals may be available; see the course page for details).
